Regional Economic Outlook
On October 13, Mr. Saade Chami, METAC Coordinator, presented the Regional Economic Outlook REO in collaboration with the Banque du Liban (BDL) represented by the second Vice Governor Mr. Saad Andari in the Intercontinental Phoenicia Hotel. The session was chaired by Mr. Eric Mottu, IMF Resident Representative for Lebanon. The event was attended by some 50-60 people including officials from BDL, the ministry of finance, the ministry of economy, bankers' association as well as the media. The presentation was followed by questions and answers focusing on the impact of the crisis on oil importers, and particularly on Lebanon.
